MSNBisee

Live T.V. You can't beat it. Last night I purposely stayed up to record the ever exciting OU-Baylor football that they were replaying on Fox Sports Net. So, I had time to kill. I found some hurricane coverage on MSNBC at about 1 a.m. Of course they had some of those idiots out in the middle of 500 mph winds and rain that literally goes sideways. So, in the midst of all of this "excitement" they decide to interview someone who wanted to ride out the hurricane. The particular man had long blonde hair and looked rather hippy-ish. He owned a business that sells and/or rents electric cars and he was griping about the early evacuations of the local residents of that town. But in the middle of this "interview" he was giving "shout outs" and verbal high fives to people he knew. One such person he said hi to was "his lover". I wonder if her name was Lafonda? Anyway, the whole time he was kinda making jokes and being all hippy. So he says, and I quote (ON LIVE TV, MIND YOU), "I should get a shirt that says, 'Premature Evacuator'." And at this point the t.v. camera rapidly points back to the idiot correspondant who tries to act like nothing happened. It didn't work. It may have been the funniest live t.v. incident since Geraldo whipped it out in front of Hilary Clinton. Good stuff.

Until next time, vaya con Dios.
