3 Little injured and old pigs

This must be the longest blog drought since the dawn of The Gingus Chronicles. But don't worry. I'm still alive.

Two days ago I played in our annual alumni basketball game. It's been 8 years since I've graduated. I knew going into the game that it was going to rip me a new one. But after the game was over, I didn't feel as bad as I thought I was going to. Granted, I was worn out and exhausted, but considering no arms or legs fell off in the process, I came out ahead. I am just a little sore as of now, but the biggest problem I have is my knee. This past summer I hurt it. I don't know when or how, but it's been hurting since then. It only hurts when I am moving it semi-aggressively. Meaning that if I chose to jog or play basketball or some kind of physical activity, it hurts. It bothers me on the bottom side of my knee cap and a little to the right. So, I'm thinking that it has something to do with the patellar tendon (it may be something called "Jumpers Knee"). But, I guess this is the price I pay for being old and out of shape.

Fall is upon us. Cooler weather is here. Which means FOOTBALL!!!!

My Sooners (for the time being) are number 1! Since USC lost or Oregon State (again), OU moved up to the #1 spot. I've been meaning to do my picks each week on here but considering how I'm doing, I would only embarrass myself. I think I should have a monkey make my picks for me. I'd put two teams on a piece of paper and but it on a wall. The monkey would come in and whichever piece of paper is closest to the poo the monkey threw is the team I'll pick. Sounds simple enough, right?

The process for my house that I'm building is coming along slowly, but at least it's coming along. I never realized how difficult and drawn out of a process it is to borrow money for a new house. It's rediculous. I should have just invited the smart one of those 3 little pigs to build my house instead.

And speaking of the 3 Little Pigs, I found an old classic music video for you to enjoy and admire.

There you have it. Until next time, vaya con Dios.
