What do you mean by "playing the back 9"?

I just had a few random thoughts....

I watched the news a minute ago and saw where they had a big gay pride parade/activity today. They interviewed a married heterosexual male asking his opinion of the events. He said that he was totally supportive of gay rights. He also said that he thought there needed to be more awareness of these kinds of things. Awareness of what? Doesn't everyone know that there are homosexuals out there? Yeah... you are gay? Well, thanks for telling us......

This weather we've been having is unbelievable. Oklahoma (along with most other places) either gets too much rain or not near enough. Wasn't it just last summer we were in a year+ long drought? Now we have floods almost everyday in this region... especially in north Texas where several people have died due to the floods.

Tomorrow I will start with my second week of coaching summer league basketball. This past week we went to Lindsay, OK, and played a total of 8 games in 3 days. It was a good experience. I just wish that more people could have come and played.... among a few other things. Next week we'll be in Ada, OK, to play a total of 9 games. It will be a long 3 days but it will be a good experience for me and the girls. I just hope they take advantage of it.

I started watching a new show on ABC called Traveler. It replaced my FAVORITE show, Lost. It's a cool combination of old and new elements. You feel like you're watching some classic suspense show like "The Fugitive", but the technology and the references to terrorism are very modern. The show starts with one event, and then moves both forward and backward chronologically through a cool combination of new events and flashbacks (sounds familiar, eh?). The acting is great and it's definitely suspense-filled.
