Kent... I cannot see you...

I know... I never update anymore. Let's just say I've been busy.

Coaching is becoming my favorite thing as far as the whole job thing goes. It's already close to October. That's scary. In just a few months, 2006 will be over. How crazy is that? But the month I'm looking forward to the most in the wonderful month of May. I'll let you decide why...

Today I bought season 1 of Whose Line Is It Anyway? DVD. I'm about to become knee-deep in outrageous comedy. That's right... knee-deep. Waist-deep would just be rediculus.

Let's see... what else?

Wow... I just realized I have no life. Aside from my job, that is. And let's say that takes up quite a bit of time. I'm busy, in other words.

I still have no relationship to speak of. I would have thought by this time in my life I would have found a 'gal and become, again, knee-deep in marital goodness. But, guess what? That didn't happen. I'm not going to say I'm bitter or anything, because I'm not sure if I am suited for marriage right now. Maybe that's because I haven't had a decent relationship in years.... or ANY relationship for that matter. I'll just chalk one up for God's timing and move on.

Any questions?

Until next time, vaya con Dios.

OU vs. The Refs and the refs won

The OU vs. Oregon game was the worst officiated game I have ever watched. I know people use blaming refs as a crutch but this is obviously different. I wouldn't feel as bad if OU just played horrible and didn't deserve to win. But, in my mind, OU did win. They got absolutely screwed. Makes me so mad. This was even worse than the Texas Tech fiasco last year.

Okay, I'm going to go kick a puppy now. Later.

Lazing on a lonely Friday night

I noticed that whenever you don't eat, you tend to become hungry. It's a revelation I've made completely by myself. I'm smart. I should write these down and make a book.

It's the best of times, it's the worst of times. That's how school can be... except for the first one. What did I get myself into?

Guess what? I have a permit to be able to drive a school bus. How scary is that? Not as scary as actually seeing me DRIVING a school bus. Word of advice: Stay out of the ditches. I'll be taking my actually driving test next Friday.

Sorry I don't update this as much as I did. I don't have much free time around the internet anymore except for the weekends.

So, now I'm sitting in the UCM, by myself wondering where people are. Usually this is the thing I look forward to the most out of the week: Seeing my friends and relaxing. But they aren't here and that makes me a sad panda.

I showed this video to some of my classes today at school. What kind of teacher am I? But it was cool anyway, so shutty.

Duh Lorean

This may have been the most stressful week so far at work. I thought things were getting better and a little easier... but no. Things keep adding up and the material gets harder. What am I doing? May is such a long time from now. If only I had a time machine just like the one in Back to the Future. Plus, it would be sweet to have that car anyways.

You know the saying "Time fly's when you have fun"? Well, let's just say that time is going very, very, VERY slow.

Until next time, vaya con Dios.

We've been spending most our lives, living in a stalkers paradise

Long time, no blog.

I'm sorry for the delays, if anybody cares. Things have been hectic as usual. Work pretty much controls my life. I think I'm beginning to get the hang of it. But, usually when that happens, something changes and I have to adapt somehow. If I can just make it through this year....

So, what's up with facebook? It has changed so much. It's a stalkers paradise now. I wonder if Michael Jackson has facebook...

Life is funny, you know? It's also a very small world we live in. Sometimes I just have sit back as watch life's passing parade. Sometimes I smile. Sometimes I frown.

Everything around is breaking down... to chaos.

Until next time, vaya con Dios.

The Wal-Mart Samaritan

Good ole' me.

I head to WalMart to attain a button-up (or down) white shirt for a wedding I am ushering tomorrow morning. I pull into a parking spot 2.74 miles from the automatic doors entering WalMart, and right next to me I see a Chevy Blazer with the hood raised with jumper cables connected to a car directly in front of it. I get out of the car thinking that they had everything under control, but a woman called out to me asking for help. Apparently the car had loose battery cables and they needed tightening and it just so happened that I had a flashlight and a crappy pair of plyers. They mentioned that they had a friend coming by to help so I went in the store to make my purchases (I also bought treats for me... fudge pops). I came back and they moved literally about 10 feet, this time they were in the aisle blocking traffic. So, I put my stuff in the truck and went back to help. Everything turned out just fine. I felt bad for her though. To be stranded like that and only depending on strangers for help. She was appreciative though.

So, the moral of this story is: Never, ever, park beside a car with the hood raised. Just kidding. If somebody needs help, help them. Just think about a time when you were in need and you wished that somebody, ANYBODY would come by and help you out. Put yourself in their shoes... or sandles.

And in a totally unrelated topic....

OKLAHOMA FOOTBALL starts tomorrow!!!!!! I'll be there cheering with 80,000 other screeming OU fans... hopefull they will be screems of joy. So, I'll continue my self-made tradition of picking a few upcoming college football games. Enjoy... if you care.

OU- 27 , UAB- 9
OU takes the field coming off a lot of offseason turmoil and mystery. Bomars recent removal from the team leaves a lot to be wondered about the offense. But a guy who has been there for what seems like forever will get a second chance at quarterback. Paul Thompson will start out slow moving the offense but will slowly become more relaxed in the game. Towards the end of the first half he will begin to look comfortable behind center and begin moving the ball downfield, especially with the help of Adrian Peterson. OU will put this one away in the second half after UAB begins to wear down.

Notre Dame- 31 , Georgia Tech - 17
This one will be close for three quarter but Heisman favorite Brady Quinn will make plays to win the game for the Fighting Irish.

Ok. State - 28 , Missouri State - 7
The always powerful OSU Cowboys (sarcsam there for ya) will take on a national powerhouse in Missouri State. OSU should be much improved from last year but they will still struggle a little in this one at first but will take control of the game in the second half.

Texas- 42 , North Texas- 10
Texas starts a freshman at quarterback, but the expectations are very high for the #3 ranked team in the nation. Texas still has a lot of talent back that will help carry the load of a young and inexperienced quarterback. North Texas isn't very good, so Texas will roll in this one.

Ohio State- 31 , N. Illinois- 21
The nations preseason #1 team only has 2 returning starters on defense. But their offense is powerful with a lot of talent. Northern Illinois isn't nothing to laugh at though. They have a terrific running back that can do a lot of damage. But, no big early season upset just yet, Ohio State wins late.

Oh, and Ed wanted me to mention him in my blog to help his ego. I don't think a guy who gives HIMSELF a nickname of The Rocket needs anymore ego boosting. So, Ed, here's your mention. I hope it was everything you hoped for.
